We ordered delivery and it was awful... fish was so dry and the chips and cheese!!! £8 and thats what it looked like... and they won't not give me a refund. The curry sauce wasn't even a normal sized tub it was the mini sauce pots for £2.20... honestly awful.”

“If your planning a trip to Edinburgh you MUST visit this fish and chip shop!!! We ate in there 3 times during our trip from London. The fish and chips were the best we have ever had, the fish was perfectly seasoned and had light crispy batter. The chips were fluffy on the inside and to die for. The fish and chips in Edinburgh ( we tried a few places!) Is superior to what we have had in London, however Salvatories was the best. Avoid the tourist traps and go to Salvatories! The owner Salvatorie is an absolute legend and a true gentleman, he was so friendly and passionate about the food. It's made us want to move to Edinburgh. Also try the pizza, it's freshly made and was delicious, all the staff were amazing. We never usually write reviews but Salvatorie you deserve it! My son says thanks again for the chocolate ! Hopefully we will return soon ! Much obliged Sir.”
