“After not going to the Dentist for 10 years as a result of developing an intense phobia due to a horrific & traumatizing experience at my old dental practice, I finally bucked up the courage to register with a new dental practice (Citrus Dental). I informed the team at Citrus (during my registration) about my phobia and I was assigned to Dr. Fotis Bousis. The registration appointment went very well. I had my first actual appointment a few days ago where I received 2 much needed fillings, and Dr. Bousis and his colleague were the gold standard of professionalism. Dr. Bousis (and his colleague who I’m sorry to admit i cannot recall the name of) were sympathetic and understanding regarding my phobia and kept the situation calm, and kept me reassured at all times. Not to mention watching them work was like seeing a high level military operation unfold, incredible efficiency between the two of them. I could write an essay about how excellent Dr. Bousis’ handling of my situation was, but I can summarize the experience by simply stating that it was the best dentist visit I’ve ever had. I never thought I would find myself in the position of actually looking forward to all future appointments, but I now am. The reception team are also great! Very kind, great customer service, and quick communication. I can’t recommend Citrus dental or Dr. Bousis more highly enough. 11/10. I’m very, very happy to be with the practice.”

“I have been to a few appointments here now. I think the dental staff are great and diligent- Zoe especially really put me at ease and was informative and did great work. I have noticed the practise struggles with timekeeping (late appointments) and receptionist disorganisation. Both the last 2 appointments I waited 15- 25 minutes for my appointment to start. This is hard if you have any other appointment after. I was quoted during appointment 1, that for appointment 2 a deposit is needed. I paid this and was told a remaining balance to be paid at appointment 2. A week and a half before appointment 2 I changed the date of my appointment via phone due to work clashes. I then was sent a wrong appointment email and a correct appointment email at the same time. There were 2 phonecalls with reception to clear this up and cancel the wrong one. On both phonecalls I asked the remaining balance and was told £35 by 2 different receptions. After appointment 2 in person I was charged £49 in person. I explained I was quoted twice on the phone that it was a different amount. The receptionist was quite condescending and just repeated it. I appreciated that she printed off a invoice to show me- but I had been told twice a different price. (I even sensed due to the wrong email, and swapping to a different dentist for app 2 that I had to double check for the remaining balance- I just got the sense they were disorganised). At the end I wound up paying out of annoyance and the receptionist didn't seem to care I was quoted a different amount by 2 receptionists previously. I was asked to book an appointment in 6 months and 1 year- I just declined as I don't feel confident in their timekeeping nor organisation.”
