“My mum was in Edinburgh Royal hospital and we were looking for somewhere to go for a bite to eat to celebrate her birthday, someone in her ward recommended here, and I decided to give them a call to make sure they had space for 10 of us to sit and have some food together. As soon as I spoke to them I knew the service was going to be first class. The Cafe was small but perfect, with lovely decor and a friendly feel, you can tell everything is spotless. The service was superb, and both members of staff went over the top to make sure we have everything we needed. The menu is extensive with everything from Pizza to breaded fish. We had a wee bit of everything, and coming from a family full of foodies we can honstly say the food was first class! Thank you so much for making my mums day when shes going through a tough time, we will definitely be back at some point.”

“Only had chips and cheese but probably was the nicest chips and cheese I've ever had. No over exaggerating. Guy who served me was really chatty and friendly. Had a laugh. “Dannys grill serves the best, moist and tastiest chicken doner in edinburgh and behond, closely followed by his lamb doner and selection of shish kebabs, the dough for the pizzas and the wraps is made fresh each day, no prepacked sold here, the breakfasts, rolls etc are cooked fresh to order and are always hot and tasty, you can even have eggs benedict, they have a great selection of drinks and make the best coffee in town, the shop is spotlessly clean as are the staff and the atmosphere and banter is spot on, all the kids love danny and make good use of his reduced prices at their lunchtime, it is also a sit in cafe with comfortable seating and good music, try dannys and see for yourself what you are missing.”
