“What a book shop!! I love a good feminist/queer store in general, and this one carried a wonderful selection! The staff were also incredibly nice, and helped me buy a book for a friend (she loved it). We did a book shop crawl around Edinburgh the day we came, and it was by far my favourite of the day! I would also recommend the coffeeshop across the road, as it had a good flat white!”

“Loved this book shop! The staff were really friendly, and there's a huge selection of different books. I also enjoyed that there's clearly diverse reading tastes among the staff, so there's brilliant recommendations for all tastes! Picked up a copy of "Every day I read" by Hwang Bo-Reum, which the person at the till told me is very good, I'm nearly halfway through and they were right!”

“Today, my friend and I spent over an hour in this bookstore, and I was truly amazed by the selection. Despite not being a native speaker, I found the books incredibly captivating, compelling me to pick up and browse through one after another! The two staff members were very friendly. I asked about books on mental health and anthropology, and one of them enthusiastically recommended several, from which I found some I really liked. I ended up buying six books, which made me incredibly happy! Visiting this bookstore has been an important item on my Edinburgh to-do list, and today I finally checked it off. I will leave this city carrying these six books and my love for Edinburgh. A huge thank you to the friendly staff, as well as to the authors and the behind-the-scenes publishing editors displayed here.
