“UPDATED - I had a poor experience. I never got windows installed but was going through insurance and they were hired to inspect and report. My initial appointment nobody turned up and didn’t get in touch to say they wouldn’t be there. When I called they said they had outsourced the work to another company (which like is sus anyway). I had multiple glaziers out to quote and inspect as per insurance requirements and I don’t feel as if this company did a thorough inspection compared to other companies. Two windows were obscured by furniture (I would have moved it) and not fully inspected and the worker was not there very long. Vetro then provided a report that is contrary to all the other glaziers. When I left a bad review being honest about my experience they have threatened me with legal action which I’m not scared about as it’s all true. You say I was never a customer but I had an experience I can comment on and I felt strongly enough to warn others. Vetro have also accused me of trying to commit insurance fraud (which multiple other glaziers disagree with 100% and is just HORRIFIC to claim and not true!). Can only imagine the stress and money this would have caused but thankfully all other companies provided reports saying there is evidence of storm damage and they all inspected the windows more thoroughly. Personally I was not happy with the service or the response and would definitely not recommend Response - I actually didn’t get an apology like you claim which wouldn’t bother me but your worker arrived and blamed me for the missed appointment actually... And I was told on the phone the work was outsourced to another company. You were asked to inspect four windows and provide a report. How can you provide a report on windows you didn’t inspect very thoroughly? And then to claim I was committing insurance fraud - again when they weren’t properly inspected! Disgusting. That’s a horrible thing to do to someone going through insurance hell and stress already. And clearly multiple glaziers disagree and not a single one agrees. I stand by my experience with the company being bad and nothing I have said is inaccurate - I am allowed to warn others of this. The correspondence has also been threatening and rude which hardly reflects well. I also don’t know what you’re on about that I’m demanding a report - I asked for the report to pass on to insurance, you said you’d done that and I said that’s fine thanks? You’re just trying to make me look unreasonable but hopefully others see and don’t have to deal with this unprofessional company who seem to lack the knowledge to carry out such skilled work and who outsource jobs to other companies if they’re busy. Hopefully you stop with your threatening emails but honestly it’s just reinforced that I was right to warn others.”
