“One of my favourite fish mongers and I go there multiple times a week when I'm in Edinburgh. I particularly like the shellfish bisque and the Cullen skink soups. One time I bought bisque soup and it had been heavily watered down but after that single occasion the quality has returned to normal. It would be good if the labels also noted if the source was wild or farmed caught. Unfortunately the store assistants seem to encourage customers to lean over the seafood when for example paying which is a hygiene problem (see example picture). I have mentioned this once to one of the staff members but the practice continues. It would be good if management could train staff not to do that. Was overcharged GBP 9 one time on a purchase which was probably a mistake but it's important to check your receipt.”

“Went there for Christmas meal ingredients on Christmas eve morning. arrived around 9:30 and waited 30 minutes or so. queue was quite long but the staffs were quick and efficient with customers. bought scallops, king prawns, salmon and all were really fresh and reasonably priced!”
