“Cannot recommend The Menagerie enough! We booked an animal experience party for our daughter’s 5th birthday (with 10 other kids and their grown ups in tow!) and everyone had the best time. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and clearly care a lot for their animals. They made sure all the children got equally involved and were able to handle, walk and feed the animals. All the animals were an absolute delight (not to mention super calm and patient with a bunch of little kids!) and both the children and adults loved the whole experience. We will definitely be back. A huge thank you to everyone at The Menagerie for making our girls birthday one to remember!”

“An incredible experience! Even though the two of us were running really late, Les stayed after his volunteers left and walked us around himself. He presented each lot of animals all on his own, even with a poorly knee. We got to walk the ponies around the back field in the sunshine whilst he went about his chores. He even gave us a ride back to the bus stop, and gifted a delicious bottle of homemade wine for our birthday boy. Will definitely be going again - if anything just for the goat massage!”

“A wee hidden gem! Paid a visit here in June and I was amazed at how many animals there were. A very well kept farm and the volunteers are lovely, and take the time to talk to you and answer any questions. Beautiful scenery as well and I had the privilege of holding a really chilled chicken, she fell asleep on me 🤣 Lovely day out for all ages!”
