“Afternoon is the time to pleasure yourself with dessert and the pastry section is one of the best pastry shops in Edinburgh. They have two branches (as I am aware of) in Leith and Stockbridge. I went to Leith branch. The decoration is minimal, with limited seats but we got the table. We tried 4. All cakes are well made and taste very good but what I love the most is jam and cream cake with many textures in my mouth. Crispy and not too sweet. The meringue tart is melting too quick so that’s unfortunate. The staffs are friendly and willingly responds to your questions. If you are lucky to sit in that will be perfect but many customers also do takeaway. Ps. Be aware of sugar overload or tag along with your friends or intimate others so you can safely try more plates.”
